A Russian anti-war activist has been apprehended upon arrival in Armenias capital Yerevan, he informed independent Russian human rights guard dog OVD-Info.
Nikita Kamensky had come to Zvartnots International Airport on a flight from Istanbul early Tuesday, OVD-Info reported, when he was apprehended for an unidentified factor.
The detention might be connected to Armenias responsibilities under its extradition treaty with Russia, where Kamensky has actually been listed in the wanted individuals database considering that December 2022.
Kamensky, 31, had been briefly detained in Moscow in July for painting anti-war graffiti near a city station in the north of the capital.
Police officers raided his house several days later, and he was subsequently charged with criminal vandalism.
