The second phase of nationwide sero survey is complete, said ICMR.(Photo: Reuters)The Indian Council for Medical Research has successfully completed the second round of the country-wide serosurvey.The final phase of analysis of the serosurvey is currently underway and will offer a comparison with the results of the first survey.However, containment zones do not fit into the national representative sampling."The ICMR has been in contact with the respective state authorities.

The findings of the previous survey from the dynamic containment zones were communicated to the states for further action," said an official.To further aid in developing state intervention plans, the states have also conducted their zone and city-specific surveys following the ICMR survey.
