NEW DELHI: The Nifty PSU Bank index was trading 1.16 per cent up at 3084.2 around 10:24 am on Friday with all its components trading higher.Shares of Central Bank of India (up 3.03 per cent) , Union Bank of India (up 2.74 per cent) , Syndicate Bank (up 2.10 per cent) and Indian Bank (up 1.90 per cent) were the top gainers in the index.
Oriental Bank of Commerce (up 1.79 per cent) , Bank of Baroda (up 1.63 per cent) , Canara Bank (up 1.34 per cent) and Bank of India (up 1.18 per cent) were trading higher.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 101.30 points at 10,881.10 while the BSE Sensex was up 347.84 points at 36,155.12.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 44 were trading in the green, while 6 were in the red.
