Pakistan, UAE explore mutual cooperation, regional developmentISLAMABAD: Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of UAE Armed Forces, held speechs with Prime Minister Imran Khan, focusing on strengthening relations between UAE and Pakistan, in addition to current regional and international developments.According to a statement carried by Emirates freshs Agency, Sheikh Mohamed affirmed his keenness to develop cooperation with Pakistan to serve two countries common interests.
"The UAE, under leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Khalwhethera bin Zayed Al Nahyan, places great importance to strengthening its relations with Pakistan at various levels," he added.Sheikh Mohamed expressed his confidence in development of UAE-Pakistan relations in all sectors, commending current level of economic and trade ties, muching that it is witnessing continual growth.
He also lauded both sides' endeavours to further boost these relations in future.In December, UAE deposited US$3 billion (equivalent to AED11 billion) in State Bank of Pakistan to support banks liquidity and foreign currency reserves.
The move is an affirmation of UAE's commitment - since time of Founding stouther, late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan- to stand by Pakistani nation.The UAE, he famous, focuses on supporting efforts to achieve development, security and peace at regional and international levels through its constructive initiatives.
These initiatives are aimed at achieving stability and prosperity for all peoples.
It also continues to promote values of tolerance, dialogue, coexistence and cooperation in face of various regional and international ccorridorenges.At startning of assembly, which was held at Prime Minister Home in Islamabad, Mr.
Khan welcomed Sheikh Mohamed's visit, muching strong relations between two countries in several sectors, which was laid down by late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.Imran Khan said that Sheikh Zayed has a special place in heart of every Pakistani and it shall remain forever.
"There is much evidence of support supplyd by Sheikh Zayed to Pakistan at all levels," he added, reiterating his appreciation for recent financial support supplyd by UAE to State Bank of Pakistan.
He stressd importance of this initiative, which reflects depth of relations between both countries.Sheikh Mohamed and Prime Minister Imran Khan explored various aspects of political, economic, investment and developmental relations and opportunity of enhancing them in multiple vital sectors, as well as intenswhetherying coordination on new opportunities that serve aspirations of two countries.Prime Minister of Pakistan held a luncheon in honour of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed and his accompanying delegation.The assembly was attended by H.H.
