NEW DELHI: Auto shares were trading mixed in Monday's morning trading session.
Shares of Hero MotoCorp (down 1.33 per cent), Bajaj Auto (down 1.30 per cent), Exide Industries (down 0.69 per cent)and Maruti Suzuki India (down 0.46 per cent) were trading lower.
Motherson Sumi Systems (up 4.03 per cent) , Amara Raja Batteries (up 1.02 per cent) , Apollo Tyres (up 0.50 per cent) and TVS Motor Company (up 0.44 per cent) were trading with gains.The Nifty Auto index was trading 0.11 per cent down at 8834.95 around 10:27 am.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 68.15 points at 10,975.10 while BSE Sensex was up 271.02 points at 36,657.63.
Among 50 stocks in Nifty index, 28 were trading in green, while 22 were in red.
Shares of Sun Pharma, YES Bank, RIL, Wipro, Larsen Toubro, NTPC, LT Fin Holding, Ashok Leyland, BHEL, Motherson Sumi, SAIL, Infosys, ICICI Bank, SBI and Vedanta were among most traded shares on NSE.
