NEW DELHI: IT shares were trading in negative zone in Tuesday's morning session.Shares of Infibeam Avenues (down 1.82 per cent), HCL Technologies (down 1.20 per cent) and Infosys (down 0.98 per cent) were trading with losses.
Tech Mahindra (down 0.55 per cent), Tata Consultancy Services (down 0.14 per cent ) and Oracle Financial Services Software (down 0.13 per cent) too were trading lower.
The Nifty IT index was trading 0.50 per cent down at 14,890.95 around 10:32 am.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 46.40 points at 10,915.45 while BSE Sensex was down 138.99 points at 36,439.97.
Among 50 stocks in Nifty index, 13 were trading in green, while 36 were in red.
Shares of Sun Pharma, YES Bank, Ashok Leyland, LT Fin Holding, Kotak Bank, RIL, SAIL, Vedanta and Tata Motors were among most traded shares on NSE.
