NEW DELHI: Reliance Communications with over 1.78 crore crore shares changing hands was leading among most traded stocks on NSE on Wednesday.Shares of YES Bank (number of shares traded: 0.84 crore) , Prabhat Dairy (number of shares traded: 0.46 crore) , Vakrangee (number of shares traded: 0.43 crore) , Adani Power (number of shares traded: 0.30 crore) , Ashok Leyland (number of shares traded: 0.29 crore) , ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company (number of shares traded: 0.28 crore) , Jet Airways (number of shares traded: 0.23 crore) , Punj Lloyd (number of shares traded: 0.22 crore) and JP Associates (number of shares traded: 0.22 crore) also featured among most traded stocks on NSE.YES Bank (Rs 163.61 crore) was leading pack of most active stocks in value terms.It was followed by MindTree (Rs 159.31 crore), RIL (Rs 144.75 crore), Asian Paints (Rs 120.60 crore), ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company (Rs 90.24 crore), Maruti Suzuki (Rs 79.07 crore), Sun Pharma (Rs 77.32 crore), Wipro (Rs 69.98 crore), Jet Airways (Rs 61.56 crore) and Hindustan Unilever (Rs 60.23 crore).The NSE Nifty index was trading 0.6 points up at 10923.35 while BSE Sensex was down 10.59 points at 36,434.05 around 09:37 am.
In Nifty index, Zee Entertainment Enterprises (up 1.86 per cent) , YES Bank (up 1.77 per cent) , JSW Steel (up 1.73 per cent) , Hindalco Industries (up 1.69 per cent) and Tata Steel (up 1.46 per cent) were among top gainers.
While Infosys (down 0.97 per cent) , Kotak Mahindra Bank (down 0.94 per cent) , Tata Consultancy Services (down 0.89 per cent) , Adani Ports Special Economic Zone (down 0.63 per cent) and Housing Development Finance Corporation (down 0.52 per cent) were top losers in Nifty pack of stocks.
