NEW DELHI: Bharti Infratel is likely to report tepid financial results for quarter ended December 2018.According to Kotak Institutional Equities, company may report 2.7 per cent year-on-year (YoY) rise in net profit at Rs 601.50 crore in Q3FY19 over 585.40 crore in Q3FY18.The brokerage house also projected 0.20 per cent YoY dip in net sales at Rs 3,655.30 crore in December quarter.
Kotak believes that EBITDA, EBIT and PBT of Bharti Infratel (BHIN) may slip 11 per cent, 12.80 per cent and 2 per cent, respectively, on year-on-year basis.For BHIN, we expect sequential EOP tenancy increase of 4.2 per cent QoQ driven by Bharti Airtel and R-Jio.
We are baking in zero exits for quarter.
LTE rollouts continue to drive solid growth in loading revenues for BHIN.
This quarter will see full impact of Vodafone Idea exits, said Kotak in a report.Brokerage firm Emkay Global Financial Services sees 5 per cent YoY growth in PAT for Bharti Infratel in Q3FY19.
The brokerage house is of view that company may report 3 per cent and 17 per cent year-on-year dip in net sales and EBITDA, respectively.We estimate consolidated tower addition of 242 and a net tenancy increase of 5.7k vs a decline of 26.2k in Q2FY19, resulting in a tenancy ratio of 1.94x vs 1.89x in 2Q.
Energy margins are expected narrow to 6.4 per cent from 7.2 per cent in Q2FY19.
Rental/month/tower will have positive impact of aggressive loading from telcos, Emkay said in a report.Shares of company were trading 0.86 per cent up at Rs 280.15 at around 9.30 am (IST), while BSE Sensex was up 23.89 points, or 0.07 per cent, at 36,468 at around same time.
