NEW DELHI: Realty shares were trading with losses in Monday's morning session.Shares of Indiabulls Real Estate (down 6.30 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects (down 3.03 per cent), Unitech (down 2.94 per cent ) and Sobha (down 2.07 per cent) were the worst performers in the index.DLF (up 1.39 per cent), Sunteck Realty (up 0.49 per cent) and Brigade Enterprises (up 0.39 per cent) were trading with gains.The Nifty Realty index was trading 0.50 per cent down at 228.90 around 11:19 am.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 91.20 points at 10,689.35 while the BSE Sensex was down 272.15 points at 35,753.39.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 10 were trading in the green, while 40 were in the red.
Shares of Zee Entertainment, YES Bank, ICICI Bank, Ashok Leyland, SBI, Adani Ports SEZ, Bank of Baroda, DLF and Larsen Toubro were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
