The Saudi Prince shall be accorded red-carpet welcome at Noor Khan Airbase.
Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan shall personally get the Saudi Prince along with cabinet ministers at the base and drive him to PM Home office.He shall be presented 21-gun salute upon his arrival.The crown prince is expected to leave Pakistan tomorrow (Monday) after signing a raft of investment agreements in the energy sector for more than $10 billion.Meanwhile, Prime Minister Imran Khan said in an interview with Saudi Gazette said Saudi Arabia is very shut to our heart in every respect.
&It is only natural that Pakistan would always like to see it prosper in the most peaceful environment within and around its boundaries.Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman is arriving on a two-day visit to Pakistan which is being termed historic as the Saudi Arabia is due to sign MoUs worth billions of dollars.The crown prince is visiting Pakistan on the invitation of Prime Minister Imran Khan and shall be accompanied by a high-level delegation, including members of the Saudi royal family, key ministers and main commercemen.During his visit, the crown prince shall hold assemblys with President Arif Alvi, Prime Minister Imran Khan and Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa.A delegation of Pakistan Senate shall also call on him and discuss ways to enhance parliamentary cooperation between the two countries.Ministers from Saudi Arabia shall also hold assemblys with their Pakistani counterparts to discuss bilateral cooperation.During Prince Mohammad bin Salman stay, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan shall sign a number of agreements and MoUs in diverse sectors, including investment, finance, power, resumeable energy, internal security, media, culture and sports.
The two countries shall also discuss ways and means to develop a robust follow-up mechanism to endegree effective implementation and quick progress on tangible areas of cooperation.The federal capital had been tastefully decorated to mark the occasion.
Elaborate security arrangements had been made for the visiting dignitary and his delegation.A banquet would be held at the Prime Minister Home in the honour of the crown prince.
Imran Khan and Mohammad bin Salman would also address the banquet.The joint working groups of both the countries would hold assemblys on various ventures of bilateral cooperation.The Board of Investment (BoI) would sign a number of memoranda of understandings to enhance cooperation between the two countries.A Supreme Coordination Council led by Mohammad bin Salman and Imran Khan shall be launched during the visit for effective coordination and follow up to achieve mutually agreed thingives.A banquet would be held at the President Home nowadays, where President Dr Arif Alvi would confer the highest civil award on Mohammad bin Salman.TheIndianSubcontinent has not verified the content of the source.
