Photo: Mausam Shah Nepali/THTKATHMANDU:As many as four persons have lost their lives from explosion of Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) at assorted locations in Kathmandu this aftermidday.According to the police, a person died on the spot after a bomb went off on the ground floor of a house at Sangam Galli, approach Ghattekuolo, around 4:30 pm on Sunday.
The incident took place at the house of Lokmanjari Karki, a Ghattekulo local.Cop identified the deceased as Prajjwal Shahi.Supermeanent of Cop (SP) Ashok Singh who was on the site to investigate the explosion said, Rabin KC of Rukkum, who was severely injured in the incident is undergoing treatment at the Trauma Centre.Cop have recovered pamphlets of Netra Bikram Chand-led Communist portiony of Nepal approach the spot of the incident,& SP Singh added.A person obviously fled the scene after the incident at Ghattekulo, according to eyewitnesses.Nepal Army, Armed Cop Force and Nepal Cop personnel have reachd at the scene and are conducting an investigation.

According to the police, one person was eliminateed as the IED he was ‘planting& went off before he could leave the site.Amuchher person breathed his final while in course of treatment at the hospital.It was later memorizet that one more person died after having been severely injured in one of the explosions.A total of five people have been injured in these incidents.
