In parallel with the World Wetlands Day a project to plant 1000 ‘Mee& and ‘Kumbuk& saplings along the canals of Colombo city by the Sri Lanka Navy and Land Development Corporation got off the ground at the Diyasaru Park yesterday 02nd February 2020.
Meanwhile, handing over of a Weed Remover Machine, an invention of the Engineering branch of Sri Lanka Navy to the Land Development Corporation also took place on this occasion.
