CHENNAI: A 20-year-old lady squash player jumped from the first floor of her fitness instructors home in Kancheepuram and got away after the guy tried to rape her on Sunday night, cops stated.
Murugesan, 48, the fitness instructor, has been arrested.Murugesan has been training trainees at Perarignar Anna District Sports Stadium managed by Sports Development Authority of Tamil Nadu on Kancheepuram Railway Station Road.
Authorities said the college student had actually gone to the arena to gather her certificate as she had actually completed her training.
Murugesan apparently told her that the certificates were at his home, which is near the arena, and asked her to go there to collect it.When the player went there, he made sexual advances to her.
She rejected his advances, and when he attempted to corner her, she leapt off the first floor of your home and handled to run.
