Tamil Nadu cops said on Thursday they had apprehended from Jharkhands Dhanbad the alleged killer of a labourer from Bihar whose murder triggered a political storm centred on the so-called targeting of Hindi-speaking workers in the southern state.Upendra Dhari, settled in TN textile hub Tiruppur for the last 20 years, supposedly murdered Pawan Yadav since of personal enmity a few weeks ago, TN police said.
A video of Yadavs gruesome killing had actually gone viral with claims that Hindi-speaking employees were being targeted by regional counterparts.
The video later on turned out to be fake.
