From discounts on domestic as well as international flight tickets to new facilities, airlines operating in the Indian civil aviation market are all out to tap the high demand.
These offers - ranging from discounts on flight tickets to new websites - come weeks ahead of summer vacations in schools, making it an important booking season marked with high demand, say analysts.
GoAir, AirAsia India, Jet Airways and Vistara have recently made new announcements or come out with new attractions for potential flyers.Here are some of the offers or developments announced by airlines Jet Airways, AirAsia India, GoAir and Vistara:GoAirGoAir has announced discounts on flight tickets on select routes under its 'Low Fare Wednesday' offer.
Open for a limited period, GoAir's Low Fare Wednesday scheme offers flight tickets from an all-inclusive Rs 1,697 on flights from Lucknow to Delhi, among other fares and routes, according to the airline's website - goair.in.
GoAir time and again announces "affordable flight tickets" under its 'Low Fare Wednesday' series of offers, which usually open for bookings on Wednesdays.
GoAir is also offering tickets starting at Rs.
1,849 on flights from Hyderabad to Goa, and Rs.2,625 for those taking off from Bengaluru to Mumbai, among others, according to its website.

Fares offered under the scheme are applicable till May 25, 2018, according to GoAir.Jet AirwaysJet Airways has announced an offer, called 'JetUpgrade', under which the airline allows allowing its economy and premiere class customers to bid for an upgrade.
The offer allows all passengers holding confirmed economy or premiere bookings of Jet Airways to bid for an upgrade to premiere or first class respectively, according to the airline.
Passengers who have bought flight tickets of Jet Airways can bid for upgrade under JetUpgrade from Jet Airways' website - jetairways.com.
Jet Airways will open the bidding only seven days prior to the flight's departure, it said on Wednesday.Customers holding either economy or premiere class tickets can place a bid on Jet Airways' website under the "Manage My Booking" section.
While registering a bid, the customer is required to state the amount he or she is willing to pay for the upgrade.

The new website - airvistara.com - is "easily accessible on popular web browsers and is designed to provide enhanced features, speed, smart functionality and easy navigation accompanied with a user-friendly interface", according to the airline.
The new website supports booking of flight tickets in "three simple steps", it said in a statement.
Club Vistara members can also now view a comprehensive account summary "through a simplified, intuitive dashboard-on-a-page", Vistara added.
Club Vistara is a frequent flyer program operated by Vistara, offering special benefits such as increased baggage allowance, priority boarding and lounge access, among others.

The offer is applicable to "passengers travelling either in the Business Class or Economy Class on Air India flights operating from domestic airports within India", it noted.
Under this scheme, passengers have the option of changing the time of their original booked flights to an alternate flight of Air India operating on the same day.Air India charges its customers an advance payment of Rs 2000 plus 5 per cent GST for Economy and Rs 2000 plus 12 per cent GST for Business class per sector "through Electronic Miscellaneous Document (EMD) at the time of purchase of ticket", according to Air India.This one-time flight change facility can be availed on Air India (including the domestic leg of international flights) before closing of check-in counter and is "applicable only on sector where alternate flights are available on the same day", Air India explained on its website.
