Two consecutive days of rainfall brought some respite for the residents of Delhi from air pollution and helped lower AQI in the city.
Following the improvement in air quality in Delhi, the Centre on Tuesday revoked GRAP (Graded Response Action Plan) Stage III restrictions in the entire NCR with immediate effect.

The AQI of 312 is about 83 points lower than the threshold for invoking the GRAP Stage III actions (AQI 401-450).
However, CAQM says that there is a likelihood of the overall AQI of Delhi remaining in Very Poor category (AQI 301-400) in the coming days for which forecast is available.
