Venezuelas PDVSA and Spains Repsol have teamed up, aiming to boost Venezuelas oil sector.Their joint venture, Petroquiriquire, represents a significant commitment to mutual development.Rafael Tellechea, Venezuelas Oil Minister and President of PDVSA, led the agreement signing in Caracas with Repsols representatives.Francisco Jos Gea, Manager of Repsol Exploration, emphasized the partnerships role in advancing the industry and strengthening ties.Petroquiriquire is jointly owned, with PDVSA holding 60% and Repsol 40%.This partnership operates in multiple regions, including Quiriquire in Monagas and Mene Grande in Zulia.
