At least 15 individuals including 07 school students have been injured after a private passenger transport bus veered off the road and overturned near the Kumaradasa Junction in Wellawaya, on the Wellawaya – Thanamalwila main road.The 15 individuals including the schoolchildren and the driver of the bus, who sustained injuries during the accident, have been admitted to Wellawaya Base Hospital for treatment, Ada Derana reporter said.Police suspect that the accident occurred as a result of a sudden ailment suffered by the bus driver.Wellawaya Police is conducting further investigations regarding the incident.
