In a message on the occasion of the International Day for the Right to the Truth, US special envoy Rina Amiri called on the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) to respect the rights of all Afghans.Amiri, who is the US Special Envoy for Afghan Women, Girls, and Human Rights, urged IEA on X to account to the families of disappeared and detained victims who are struggling for the truth about the whereabouts of their loved ones.On 21 December 2010, the United Nations General Assembly proclaimed 24 March as the International Day for the Right to the Truth concerning Gross Human Rights Violations and for the Dignity of Victims.Amiri&s call comes as IEA has repeatedly said that it is committed to ensuring human rights according to Sharia.The post US envoy urges IEA to respect rights of all Afghans first appeared on Ariana News.
