A person has reportedly been killed in a shooting incident at Katugasthara area in Gampaha, a short while ago.An unidentified gunman had carried out the shooting at around 04.00 p.m.
this evening (08), according to Ada Derana reporter.The victim, who had sustained serious injuries in the incident, was admitted to Gampaha Hospital for treatment, where he had succumbed to injuries during treatment.It has been revealed that the deceased was running a vehicle painting garage at his home and the shooting has taken place while he was working there, the police said.Gampaha Police is conducting further investigations regarding the incident.
