Everest, from the Nepal side.

Kaamya was accompanied by her father, S.
Karthikeyan, a commander in the Indian Navy to the summit.
They successfully scaled Mt.
Everest at 12:50 pm on May 20, according to Dawa Steven Sherpa, Managing Director at Asian Trekking.Kaamya broke the record previously held by Shivangi Pathak, who summited Everest at the age of 16 years and 10 months in 2018.
Kaamya, at 16 years and nine months, now holds the record.
The father-daughter duo reached Camp 4 on the afternoon of May 19 and pushed for the summit that same night.Kaamya is a Class XII student at Navy Children School, Mumbai, India.
