
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Sunday welcomed Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov's remarks that the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) stand's for developing a more regular, sustainable and substantive dialogue with the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA).Abdul Qahar Balkhi, the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said in a statement that the Islamic Emirate has always emphasized that as a responsible government, it is ready to have comprehensive and result-oriented discussions with all sides on common issues.Lavrov had also claimed that Afghanistan is still a source of threat and that the cells of ISIS, Al-Qaeda and its affiliated organizations are present in the country.Balkhi, however, said that &with the end of the occupation& the insecurity factors in Afghanistan have disappeared and the conditions for investment and the implementation of large projects have become favorable.
