A private secretary of previous State Minister Lohan Ratwatte has been found dead in a home in the Katugastota location today (20 ).
Authorities stated he was found dead with gunshot injuries and that a firearm was also found near the body.
Police are yet to identify whether the death was a suicide or a homicide.
The deceased is a 49-year old citizen of Werellagama in Katugastota while he had actually served as a private secretary to former State Minister Lohan Ratwatte.
