18-hour water cut in a number of areas

The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWS&DB) announced that the water supply to numerous areas in the Western Province will be suspended for 18 hours starting tomorrow morning (26 ).
Accordingly, it stated there will be an interruption from 9.00 a.m.
on Dec.
26 (Thursday) to 3.00 a.m.
on Dec.
27 (Friday) for urgent repair work due to a breakdown in the main transmission line.The impacted locations consist of Kalutara South, Kalutara North, Wadduwa, Waskaduwa, Moronthuduwa and Bombuwala.
