Russias Federal Security Service (FSB)stated Monday that it arrested 9 people on suspicion of preparing attacks on law enforcement officer in the southern Stavropol area during Victory Day celebrations previously this month.A teenager, who was not named, supposedly signed up with an unidentified terrorist company in 2015 with the intent of committing criminal activities on its behalf, the FSB said in a statement.He then allegedlyenlisted an adult relative and seven peers aged between 14 and 16 to assist him perform the prepared attacks, according to Russias Investigative Committee, which probes significant crimes.Law enforcement authorities stated they apprehended nine people on May 8, the day before Russia marks the Soviet Unions victory over Nazi Germany in World War II.Russian police agenciesreleaseda video revealing a series of interrogations where boys, with their blurred faces, explained being hired into the unnamed terrorist organization by their peer.He informed us to duplicate after him, then congratulated us for joining some sort of group thats banned in Russia, one of the young men said.The 9 individuals were charged with being involved in terrorist activities and placed in pre-trial detention, the FSB said.The declared teenage recruiter was likewise charged with persuading others to participate in terrorist activities, according to the Investigative Committee.
