A school-bus driver was arrested in Kurunegala on Saturday (14 Oct.), over allegations of sexuallyabusing a minor.Accordingly, the suspect was arrested by the Women and Childrens division of the Kurunegala Police this afternoon for for alleged repeated sexual abuse of a 11-year-old boy after having given him drug-laced sweets.The suspect later plead guilty before the court , and was ordered to pay two personal bails of Rs.
100,000 each.He was not, however, released and remains in remand custody after he failed to post bail, Ada Derana learns.
