A person was injured in a shooting incident at the Ratmalana railway yard in the early hours of today (23).According to the Police Media Division, five individuals had entered the yard to steal property and had assaulted and injured a railway security officer on duty.In response, the security officer had opened fire at the suspects, injuring one, while the others have fled.Both the injured suspect and the security officer, who was injured in the attack, have been admitted to Kalubowila Hospital.Mount Lavinia Police is conducting further investigations into the incident.
