Female arrested with smuggled e-cigarattes worth over Rs. 3.9 M at BIA

The officers of the Police Narcotics Bureau (PNB) at Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) have actually arrested a woman who remained in the possession of a large consignment of smuggled smokeless cigarettes, valued at over Rs.
3.9 million.The detained lady, a 32-year-old businesswoman living in the Dematagoda area of Colombo, was arrested while trying to leave the airport in addition to the smuggled e-cigarettes.
She has been released on authorities bail, the police said, noting that she is set up to be produced before Negombo Magistrates Court on February 07.
