Neymar returned to Brazil last week after 12 years playing overseas.
He debuted for Santos in a 1-1 draw against Botafogo on Wednesday night.Neymar celebrated his 33rd birthday on the day of the match.
He started on the bench but played the entire second half.
Despite showing flashes of his renowned skill, he couldnt lead Santos to victory.Santos scored first with Tiquinho Soares finding the net in the first half.
Botafogo leveled the score in the 66th minute when Alexandre Jess scored with a header.On January 31, Neymar signed a six-month contract with Santos, the club where he made his name.
Between 2009 and 2013, he appeared in 225 matches, scoring 136 goals and providing 63 assists.During his earlier tenure, Neymar helped Santos win significant titles like the 2011 Copa Libertadores, 2012 Recopa Sudamericana, 2010 Copa do Brasil, and three Paulista Championships in 2010, 2011, and 2012.Neymar Makes Santos Comeback in 1-1 Draw Against Botafogo.
