NEW DELHI: The Nifty Pharma index was trading 0.68 per cent up at 9,364.55 on Monday with most of its compnents trading in the green.
Shares of Aurobindo Pharma (up 1.56 per cent), Dr.
Reddy's Laboratories (up 1.23 per cent), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries (up 1.03 per cent) and Biocon (up 0.71 per cent) were the top performers in the index.
Piramal Enterprises (up 0.28 per cent), Lupin (up 0.28 per cent) and Cipla (up 0.19 per cent) too were trading in the green.Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 19.30 points at 10,701.5 while BSE Sensex was up 94.81 points at 35,551.97 around 10:49 am.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 26 were trading in the green, while 24 were in the red.
Shares of YES Bank, Idea Cellular, Bank of Baroda, Ashok Leyland, ICICI Bank, SBI, Tata Motors, Vedanta, Bharti Airtel and Motherson Sumi were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
