NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index was trading 1.73 per cent up at 226.2 on Monday with most of its components trading higher.
Shares of Oberoi Realty (up 3.74 per cent), Sunteck Realty (up 3.71 per cent), Phoenix Mills (up 2.42 per cent) and Unitech (up 2.22 per cent) were trading higher.
DLF (up 2.13 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate (up 2.10 per cent) and Prestige Estates Projects (up 0.62 per cent) too were trading in the green.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 23.05 points at 10,705.25 while BSE Sensex was up 116.38 points at 35,573.54 around 11:04 am.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 26 were trading in the green, while 24 were in the red.
Shares of YES Bank, Idea Cellular, Bank of Baroda, Ashok Leyland, Tata Motors, ICICI Bank, Vedanta, SBI, Bharti Airtel and Motherson Sumi were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
