Shares of Asian Oilfields surged nearly 5 per cent in early trade on Friday after the oil gas industry service provider received a LoA from ONGC.The company has bagged the contract for hiring of services for 2D seismic data acquisition in Himalayan foreland basin valued at Rs 27.65 crore.
Asian Oilfield Services offers end-to-end services which extend across the entire upstream value chain, including Geophysical data acquisition and production facility EPC.
The scrip was trading 4.95 per cent up at Rs 83.70 at around 09.43 am, while the benchmark BSE Sensex was up 0.54 per cent at 36,365.19.
Meanwhile, the shares of Asian Oilfields opened at Rs 83.70 on BSE against its previous closing of Rs 79.75.
