Patricia Bullrich, 67, aims for the Argentine presidency with Juntos por el Cambio.
Born in Buenos Aires, she hails from a politically influential falmiy.Despite her elite roots, her first political steps were with the Juventud Peronista at 17.
This group played a crucial role in bringing Juan Domingo Pern back from exile.Interestingly, Bullrichs sister dated a key member of Montoneros, a militant group.
Patricia herself faced arrest in 1975 and later went into exile after a coup in 1976.She returned when the dictatorship ended and later joined Carlos Menems administration as a congresswoman.Then, she held significant roles under President Fernando de la Ra.
She became well-known for supporting pension cuts.In 2003, she founded her own party, Unin por Todos.
