Chinas aviation industry recently achieved a major breakthrough by showcasing its locally manufactured C919 and ARJ21 aircraft in Hong Kong.This historic event marks these aircrafts first display outside mainland China, symbolizing a key moment in Chinas ambitious aviation journey.The C919 and ARJ21 touched down at Hong Kong International Airport on December 12th, receiving a warm welcome with a traditional water gate ceremony.This gesture highlights Chinas growing influence in the global aviation market and underlines the importance of this showcase.The Civil Aviation Department and the Airport Authority hosted the welcoming ceremony, after which the aircraft were opened for public viewing.This opportunity allowed guests from the aviation industry and community groups to experience these advanced models up close.A highlight of the visit was the planned flight demonstration on December 16th, where the C919 was set to perform over Victoria Harbour and encircle Hong Kong Island.Chinas Airborne Ambition: A New Era in Aviation.
