He urged the government to acquire three ATR aircraft quickly to alleviate the ongoing crisis.Fidel de Pina, a PAICV parliamentarian, argued that TACV should prioritize domestic flights over international ones, where other options exist.He stressed the need to ensure the islands are not isolated and to facilitate travel for tourists and investors.Additionally, Joo Gomes from the ruling MPD party, acknowledged the situations complexity.He emphasized that the new administration must implement measures to resolve current issues and prevent future problems.A TACV source claimed the problem of canceled flights has been addressed using a long-haul aircraft.
The new CEO confirmed their mission to stabilize the situation.However, this air travel crisis matters deeply.
