In the first half of 2024, Brazils international tourism surged to 3.6 million arrivals, a significant increase.This 9.7% increase over the previous year signals a continued recovery from pre-pandemic levels, outpacing 2019 by 1.9%.Projections now suggest that Brazil may surpass its 2018 high of 6.6 million visitors by year-end.Most tourists flew into Brazil, totaling over 2.2 million.

The introduction of new flight routes and boosting the frequency of existing ones have been central.The new PATI program adds 70,000 flight seats to Brazil from October 2024 to March 2025.
