According to a current statement launched by the Train Ministry, the national transporter's overall freight filling was 203.88 million tonnes in financial 2020-21, compared to 184.88 million tonnes in the fiscal year 2019-20, marking a 10 percent year-on-year growth.

This suggests that the freight loading signed up a growth of 10 per cent from May 2019's figures and a year-on-year growth of 43 percent from the corresponding month last year.

According to the data, the wagon turnaround time this month is signed up at 4.83 days, compared to 6.61 in Might 2019.
an average speed of 45.42 km per hour is registered this month for freight trains, compared to 36.84 km per hour in the matching duration formerly, marking a 23 per cent enhancement.
