Shares of Bajaj Auto were last trading 1.83 per cent higher at Rs 4,208.90 on the BSE.Share price of Bajaj Auto gained around two per cent on Thursday, July 1, after the company announced its vehicle sales numbers for June 2021.
On Thursday, Bajaj Auto opened on the BSE at Rs 4,140, swinging to an intra day high of Rs 4,250 and an intra day low of Rs 4,140, in the trading session so far.
Baja Auto reported a total sales of3,46,136 units in June 2021, compared to2,78,097 units in the corresponding month last year, marking a growth of 24 pe rcent year-on-year.Bajaj Auto's total domestic sales - including two-wheelers and commercial vehiclesin June stood at1,61,836 units, compared to1,51,189 units in the same month last year, recording a growth of seven per cent on a yearly basis.
The company's total exports in the month stood at1,84,300 units, compared to1,26,908 units in June 2020, registeringa 45 per cent year-on-year growth.The total sales of two-wheelers in June stood at3,10,578 units, compared to2,55,122 units in the corresponding month last year, up 22 per cent year-on-year, while its domestic sales in the month stood at1,55,640 units.In terms of commercial vehicles, Bajaj Auto reported domestic sales of6,196 units in June 2021 compared to4,494 units in the same month last year, recording a rise of 38 per cent year-on-year.On the NSE, Baja Auto opened at Rs 4,141, registering an intra day high of Rs 4,250, and an intra day low of Rs 4,141, in the session so far.
It was last trading 1.75 per cent higher at Rs 4,206.05 on the NSE.Shares of Bajaj Auto were last trading 1.83 per cent higher at Rs 4,208.90 on the BSE.
