For the submission of the e-bids, the deadline is set is August 6, 2021.Indian Railways invited online bids for residential andcommercial development of vacant land parcels in Guwahati.The site is located just about 1.3 km from the Guwahati railway station at the Amabari Chowk- in the heart of the city and spans 9,488.22 square metre, according to a statement shared by the national transporter's statutory bodyRail Land Development Authority or RLDA.

In this regard, the online pre-bid meeting was conducted on June 25, 2021, wherein 13 local and national developers participated, according to RLDA.
For the submission of the e-bids, the deadline is set is August 6, 2021.According to the project, the lessee will be provided withthe lease rights and the right to access the redevelopment land for the financing, designing, constructing, as well as vesting of the redevelopment assets.
The lesseewill be mandated to secure the necessary approvals from the local authorities for the construction and will be facilitated to complete the construction of the developer portion according to thelocal building by-laws within four years.The land is bounded and has frontageon three sides with the C K Agrawala Road in the north, GNB Road in the south, Ariz Path in the east, and the residences in the west, with suitable road connectivity to all parts of the city.
