Its gross power generation rose to 74.81 billion systems (BU) in the quarter under evaluation from 67.67 BU in the year-ago period.The plant load factor (PLF) or capability utilisation of the business's coal-based power plants rose to 69.58 percent in the September quarter of 2021-22 from 64.27 per cent in the same duration a year ago.NTPC got 43.39 million metric tonnes of domestic coal supply in the quarter under review as against 38.21 million metric tonnes in the year-ago period.The imported coal supply likewise rose to 0.42 million metric tonnes in the three months ended September from 0.15 million metric tonnes in the very same period a year ago.In the September quarter of present fiscal, NTPC produced 2.79 million metric tonnes of coal, which is greater than 0.77 million metric tonnes taped in the matching period of previous financial.
