NEW DELHI: Power stocks were trading greater on Friday at 10:20 AM Indo Tech Transformers Ltd.(up 2.80%), India Power Corporation Ltd.(up 2.46%), GE Power India Ltd.(up 1.87%), Reliance Power Ltd.(up 1.84%), Inox Wind Ltd.(up 1.28%), Hitachi Energy India Ltd.(up 1.12%), Jaiprakash Power Ventures Ltd.(up 1.08%), Transrail Lighting Ltd.(up 1.02%), Orient Green Power Company Ltd.(up 0.77%) and GMR Power and Urban Infra Ltd.(up 0.40%) were amongst the leading gainers.
Power and Instrumentation(Gujarat)Ltd.(down 5.01%), Energy Development Company Ltd.(down 2.71%), Ravindra Energy Ltd.(down 1.07%), Gujarat Industries Power Company Ltd.(down 0.41%), GE Vernova T&D India Ltd.(down 0.32%), KEC International Ltd.(down 0.30%), JSW Energy Ltd.(down 0.20%), Adani Power Ltd.(down 0.19%), NTPC Ltd.(down 0.18%) and Adani Green Energy Ltd.(down 0.17%) were among the leading losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 5.05 points down at 25400.25, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 15.8 points at 83223.67 at around 10:20 AM.
Bajaj Finance Ltd.(up 2.52%), Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(up 1.43%), Shriram Finance Ltd.(up 0.89%), Bharat Electronics Ltd.(up 0.84%), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(up 0.8%), Wipro Ltd.(up 0.79%), Eternal Ltd.(up 0.62%), Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(up 0.48%), Cipla Ltd.(up 0.44%) and Adani Ports & & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(up 0.38%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
