NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 30.57 points up at 83270.04 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Stellar Capital Svcs(down 15.46 per cent), Rapicut Carbide(down 9.99 per cent), Aryan Shares & Stock(down 9.31 per cent), Ibull Housing Fin(down 8.11 per cent) and Trent(down 7.61 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.
In the Nifty pack, 24 stocks traded in the green, while 26 stocks traded in the red.
The Nifty index was trading 7.21 points up at 25412.5.
On the BSE, Shree Rajasthan, J.
Taparia Proj, Globe Civil Projects, Kkrrafton Developers and Indogulf Cropscience hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Sindhu Trade, Sumeet Ind, SML Isuzu, Algoquant Fintech and Prime Focus touched their fresh 52-week highs.
