NEW DELHI: Reliance Communications with over 3.31 crore shares changing hands was leading among the most traded stocks on NSE on
Wednesday.
Shares of IDFC Bank (number of shares traded: 0.72 crore), YES Bank (number of shares traded: 0.37 crore), Suzlon Energy (number
of shares traded: 0.30 crore), Indian Oil Corp (number of shares traded: 0.25 crore), PFC (number of shares traded: 0.25 crore), Shyam
Century Ferrous (number of shares traded: 0.23 crore), DHFL(number of shares traded: 0.23 crore), PC Jeweller (number of shares traded: 0.21
crore) and Adani Power (number of shares traded: 0.19 crore) also featured among the most traded stocks on the NSE.
Indiabulls Housing
Finance (Rs 137.93 crore) was leading the pack of most active stocks in value terms.
It was followed by Maruti Suzuki (Rs 104.10 crore) ,
YES Bank (Rs 66.43 crore) , Bajaj Finance (Rs 64.76 crore) , United Spirits (Rs 64.30 crore) , SBI (Rs 56.53 crore) , DHFL (Rs 50.84 crore)
, HDFC Bank (Rs 50.51 crore) , Jubilant Food (Rs 47.99 crore) and RIL (Rs 47.53 crore).
The NSE Nifty index was trading 39 points up at
10,947.7, while BSE Sensex was up 119 points at 36,466.08 around 09:27 am on Wednesday.
In the Nifty index, Indiabulls Housing Finance (up
5.25 per cent), Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (up 2.18 per cent), Asian Paints (up 1.88 per cent), Bajaj Finance (up 1.49 per cent) and
Indian Oil Corporation (up 1.45 per cent) were among the top gainers
Infosys (down 1.32 per cent), Zee Entertainment Enterprises (down 1.26 per cent), HCL Technologies (down 1.12 per cent), Tech Mahindra
(down 0.81 per cent) and Vedanta (down 0.65 per cent) were the top losers in the Nifty pack of stocks.
