Shares of
Indraprastha Gas (up 1.91 per cent), Petronet LNG (up 1.30 per cent), GAIL (India) (up 0.49 per cent) and Castrol India (up 0.30 per cent)
were top gainers in index
Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (up 0.22 per cent), Oil India (up 0.17 per cent) and Bharat Petroleum Corporation (up 0.11 per cent) too
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 25.20 points at 10,837.35 while BSE Sensex was down 82.09 points at 35,986.24
Among 50 stocks in Nifty index, 18 were trading in green, while 32 were in red
Shares of Bharti Airtel, Reliance Communications, Hindustan Construction Company, JP Associates, Bank of Baroda, Vakrangee, South Indian
Bank, YES Bank, SBI and Adani Power were among most traded shares on NSE.
