NEW DELHI: The SP BSE Consumer Durables index was trading 0.56 per cent down at 20,669.22 around 02:13 pm on Wednesday with most of its
components trading lower.
Shares of Voltas (down 2.85 per cent), VIP Industries (down 2.26 per cent), Symphony (down 1.53 per cent) were top
losers in index.
Blue Star (down 0.86 per cent), Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals (down 0.66 per cent) and Whirlpool of India (down
0.38 per cent) too were trading in red
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 155.30 points at 10,754.80 while BSE Sensex was down 454.90 points at 35,799.67
Among 50 stocks in Nifty index, 3 were trading in green, while 47 were in red
Shares of Reliance Communications, JP Associates, YES Bank, Ashok Leyland, Hind Construction Company, Bank of Baroda, PNB, Suzlon Energy,
SBI and Vakrangee were among most traded shares on NSE.
