HDFC plans to raise Rs 45,000 crore via NCDs

NEW DELHI: Leading mortgage lender HDFC is planning to raise up to Rs 45,000 crore through secured redeemable non-convertible debentures
(NCDs) on a private placement basis. The board of directors of company will consider issuance in a meeting on January 29, 2019. The amount
will be raised in various tranches, company said in a regulatory filing on Wednesday. "The board of directors of corporation shall consider
issuance of secured redeemable non-convertible debentures, in various tranches under Shelf Disclosure Document, aggregation Rs 45,000 crore
on a private placement basis in accordance with approval granted by shareholders of corporation at 41st Annual General Meeting held on July
2019.
