INSUBCONTINENT EXCLUSIVE:
LONDON: Europe's main stock markets slid at open on Thursday following fresh losses in Asia triggered by Apple's weaker
outlook.
London's benchmark FTSE 100 index dropped 0.7 per cent to 6,689.18 points compared with close on Wednesday.
In eurozone,
Frankfurt's DAX 30 shed 1.1 per cent to 10,467.11 points and Paris CAC 40 shed 1.0 per cent to 4,641.80.
Most Asian markets extended
losses with technology firms tumbling after Apple slashed its revenue forecasts, blaming move on slowing sales in China.
