Reliance Q3 earnings on Thursday; all eyes on telecom and retail revenues

NEW DELHI: Reliance Industries will report its December quarter results on Thursday
Analysts see a flattish profit and some pressure on refining margins on a sequential basis
Telecom and retail segments may show strong results. Petchem margin, update on Jio business and capex-related plans will be key
monitorables, they said. Brokerage Edelweiss Securities expects oil-to-telecom major to report a 3 per cent sequential drop in consolidated
QoQ) and flat petchem (up 1 per cent QoQ) will offset higher retail (up 9 per cent QoQ) and telecom (up 7 per cent QoQ) earnings
company to report consolidated profit after tax of Rs 9,540 crore, up 1 per cent YoY and almost same as in September quarter. It expects
company to report GRM of $7.5 a barrel, against $9.5 per barrel in September quarter and $11.6 a barrel in year-ago quarter
and strong volume growth in segment
