NEW DELHI: The domestic equity benchmark BSE Sensex was trading 21.59 points down at 36,423.05 on Wednesday on account of selling in
frontline bluechip counters.
Shares of Devoted Construction (down 19.92 per cent) , Ponni Sugars (down 10.64 per cent) , Asian Hotels (down
9.03 per cent) , Kamadgiri Fashion (down 8.78 per cent) , ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company (down 8.56 per cent) , Godavari Drugs
(down 8.02 per cent) , Steel Exchange (down 7.69 per cent) , Swastika Investmart (down 7.42 per cent) , Cupid (down 6.66 per cent) and
Starlite Components (down 6.54 per cent) were among worst performers.
Thiru Arooran Sugars (dow 5 per cent) and Punj Lloyd (down 4.99 per
cent) too declined around 5 per cent at around same time
In Nifty pack, 33 stocks were trading in green, while 17 stocks were in red.
The Nifty index was trading 0.25 points up at 10,923.
