Share market update: BSE Capital Goods index falls; Graphite India tanks 10%

NEW DELHI: The SP BSE Capital Goods index was trading in the red in Monday's afternoon session. Shares of Graphite India (down 9.99 per
cent), Suzlon Energy (down 7.03 per cent), HEG (down 6.01 per cent) and Bharat Electronics (down 3.87 per cent) were the worst performers in
the index. Sadbhav Engineering (down 2.92 per cent), Havells India (down 2.53 per cent), Carborundum Universal (down 2.37 per cent) and CG
Power and Industrial Solutions (down 2.27 per cent) too were trading with losses
The SP BSE Capital Goods index was trading 1.37 per cent down at 16,616.11 around 02:05 pm
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 54.25 points at 10,889.35 while the BSE Sensex was down 160.89 points at 36,385.59
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 19 were trading in the green, while 31 were in the red
Shares of Reliance Power, Reliance Communications, JP Associates, Suzlon Energy, PC Jeweller, DHFL, Reliance Infra, Reliance Capital, YES
Bank, NTPC, Tata Motors, Dish TV India, NALCO, Tata Steel, Motherson Sumi, Ashok Leyland, Vedanta, VOdafone Idea, Adani Power and SAIL were
among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange
